Seems that I am doomed to wake up at 4:45 for the duration of <a href="http://bootcampsf.com/">boot camp</a>, regardless of whether I actually have to be there on a given day.</p><p>While I cannot yet lift a car, even a small one (I have read that it is important to have <em>goals</em> when embarking upon a fitness program), I like the class quite a bit. The teachers are all very cool and do not do the faux-drill-instructor schtick (believe me, I checked before signing up), the park is very pretty, and I sort of like being awake when it&#39;s crazy early. The workouts are hard, but are a lot more like play than exercise. Yesterday we ran up and down hills, and I kept cracking up during the downhill part, because it felt very <em>Little House on the Prairie</em>. (Wisely, I kept this observation to myself and did not do my <em>Little House</em> impression, which is basically me running down a hill and screaming &quot;Pa! I can&#39;t see! I&#39;m blind, Pa!&quot; I know this is not historically correct, but it cracks me up.)</p><p>Ooh! Six-thirty-one!
